Now concert performer, Tania Chagnot started playing guitar when she was 8 years old. Holder of many prices, she is the first French guitarist to win the prestigious international Concours of guitar Paris-Radio France.
Then she takes up an international career by giving concerts in to the United States, Japan, Canada, Cuba, Venezuela, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc
She takes part in better making known the contemporary music through large type-setters like Mauice Ohana, Felix Ibarrondo, Toru Takemitsu, etc... She however preserves a real opening on all world of guitar.
Tania Chagnot is also devoted to teaching, and has created the association "You said guitar?" which organizes the International Festival of guitar of Paris (first edition 2003).
